No, you can just show up and practice and/or play the miniature golf. If you want to come with a big group, we do require a reservation for a group outing.
No, we have numerous clubs available to use. There is a small rental fee for any adult clubs – and, clubs for children (age 12 & under) are free to use.
When you buy a bucket for the mats, you can hit from the artificial carpet squares that already have a rubber tee. In order to maintain our high quality grass sections, we charge extra to hit from the grass tee area ($1 more per token) – this covers the costs for irrigation and maintenance (mowing, filling divots, fertilizing, seeding). With the purchase of a grass bucket, you can also use more practice areas – including the greenside bunker, fairway bunker, uneven lie mounds and pitching area.
We have a variety of different discounts. We honor coupons that are in various magazines and coupon books. We have a family of 4 or more package rate for the miniature golf and children 2 yrs. and under can play for free (with a paying adult). In addition, we sell range cards that can be purchased for different prices that offer substantial savings for use on the driving range and/or miniature golf.
As of now, the Highlands does not have food service so we allow outside food to be brought in – but, we appreciate beverages and snacks being purchased from our Pro Shop. ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED.
Yes, gift cards can be purchased for a designated amount and can be used for the golf range, miniature golf, instruction and items in pro shop. Gift certificates are very popular for golf lessons.
The Range Cards are offered as a type of special discount (sort of a membership program or family pass). The cards can be purchased for different prices and then we add more value to the card. Range cards can be used for range balls &/or miniature golf (they are not valid on food, merchandise or instruction). We also offer cards for 10 large buckets of range balls at a discount and 12 rounds of Mini Golf for discount.
Yes, we have handicap parking and the building, sidewalks, covered patio and driving range areas are wheelchair accessible. There is also an accessible bathroom located inside the pro shop. There are no sidewalks on the Miniature Golf Course and the grass walkways, small hills and a few stairs make it difficult for a wheelchair. However, people can play the course while using a cane or walker.
Instruction takes place RAIN or SHINE (during severe storms, lessons can be rescheduled/postponed). There is a covered section for inclement weather and heaters to use during the colder months.
No, it is not necessary to have your own golf clubs – the Highlands has a full supply of golf clubs for people to use (clubs for men, women & children; both right & left handed).
Typically, all lesson packages are valid for one (1) year from date the first lesson is taken (unless lessons were offered during a special promotion with specific restrictions).
